Technology at Liv Up: A core part of our strategy is technology. Our tech team is responsible for not only building a delightful and performant web app but also to understand, automate and optimize all our operational processes, from our kitchen to our logistics operations. We’re building unique applications in Brazil using Node.js and React.js that have been enabling us to grow as fast as we’ve been while also improving quality, end user experience and business’ margins. All our engineers design and work on the solutions on the whole stack, from database to front-end, which is made easy by using JavaScript everywhere. Using the same core stack on our main projects also allow us to change people between squads with ease based on our strategy for the quarter, giving our team a complete view from different parts of the company and opportunity to develop different skills. We expect you to build the solutions with us, make good data-driven decisions on your own and be able to prioritize and focus on what’s important • Designing and building easy-to-understand APIs, services and web applications in Node.js, React.js and MongoDB. We also work with React SSR and Redux to deliver an amazing experience on our PWA and with Python and PostgreSQL on the interfaces with our Business Intelligence team. You don’t have to know all of these from the start, but you need to learn fast. • Creating scalable, maintainable and user driven solutions. We need you to: • Be motivated by hard challenges • Have experience with modern web applications (like JS, Python or Ruby frameworks) • Have experience with agile methodologies (previous experience in fast growing startups is a very good plus)
